Hello,

I am having an issue with my samsung USB C headphones with the S24. They worked perfectly for a month or so and then suddenly started having issues. The sound will cut out and transfer to the phone itself, and I have to replug in the headphones to fix it. Sometimes this doesn't work. Basically, the phone just stops recognizing the headphones.

I have researched this issue extensively and tried all the solutions that people mentioned (going into developer options and changing some settings, etc.). I cleaned out the USB C port as well (not that it was dirty to begin with).  Nothing seems to work. If there is any solution at all to this, do please tell!!  Major fail on Samsung's part.

I'm assuming you're using the USB- C for audio vs using Bluetooth.

I found my AKGs are a bit fussy about the USB cable used- the original one works great but 3rd party ones give me issues. Might be worth a try a different cable

@rob177 Have you tried those headphones with another device? It is possible that the wiring of those headphones may be damaged.

I'm using for audio, correct. Corded USB C headphones with direct connection into S24's USB C port.

I'll try another device but think it's unlikely my headphones are damaged, I've only had them for a month or so.

I tried my USB C headphones with my Surface Laptop 3, and it doesn't work. The device is not recognized, it said.  But I'm not sure if this means the headphones are faulty, or that the laptop simply doesn't support USB C audio.  Plus on my S24 I can sometimes get playback through my headphones, whereas nothing comes through on the laptop.

It may be that USB C headphones don't work with S24. I bought a high quality USB C to 3.5mm converter and it works perfectly. Those AKG headphones are just no good.
