It is time to bring something like this back for the S25 series with Q2 charging that works with Smart Things and Daily Board features that are available on the Tab S Series!

No, this device had a setting that would turn your phone into a bedside clock when you put it into the dock. It also had HDMI out to your TV for mirroring before Android 4.1 gave you wireless mirroring. Dex hadn't been invented yet.
