Unable To Turn Off The Screen During FB Messanger Call

It's a bit strange. After updating for the Security Patch 1 December 2024. I can not lock or turn off my screen whenever Im in a voice/video call in Facebook Messenger which I am able to do before by just pressing the side button. Its just a bit annoying that i can not put my phone on my pocket while on a messenger call. 

Is anyone having the same issue after the update? Please help....

Sorry to hear this.  This is the first I'm hearing this issue I would suggest reaching out to Facebook support since it sounds like a app issue

I already uninstall then reinstall both Facebook and Messenger App thinking its an app issue but with no luck.

It can still be a app issue does your screen turn off when not in a Facebook call

Yes. It is working perfectly fine not after I have updated last December 21st for the latest security patch.

To me it sounds like a app issue since it works normally when your not in a facebook call you can try wiping the cache and see if that helps

I have done wiping the cache as well.

I do'nt know what else to do to bring it back to normal.

It would have to be a Facebook issue I would suggest reaching out to them they may need to update the app again I’m not having any issues with mine.

Try uninstall ingredients the updates for fb, try it see if it works. Then try with the update again.
