Galaxy S24I noticed it too. I then went to the Play store, found the Google app, and clicked on Uninstall. This is actually an app that can not be fully uninstalled from our phones, but it does uninstall the latest update. I then went into the app settings and was able to customize my search widget normally. Not sure what's going with Google lately, but there are a few things that are broken in Google apps on Samsung, and some were broken for months. Hopefully the next update fixes it.
