Hello,

I just got my S24 Ultra and i've discovered a cutout on the right side frame. What is the scope of it?

Thanks

That should be where the antenna is. It's to reduce interference.

It's on most modern phones that support mmwave. IPhone has it in roughly the same spot and Pixels place it on the top I believe. It's an easy way to see if your phone supports mmwave. Some phones don't bother with it since mmwave is still hard to find unless you live in some dense downtown cities as the range is very low and pretty much line of sight from the cell tower.

My s22u doesn't appear to have it. Maybe the aluminum doesn't interfere like stainless and titanium do.
