youtube stops playback randomly on its own.

It is been happening for at least a year or more.

very often stops several times within one minute.

I tried using App, it still happens.

I tried using different browsers such as Samsung Internet, Chrome, Firefox -

still stops.

I did put my phone to airplane mode and used wi-fi - still stops.

Problem has started when I've been using S9, so I thought maybe old phone is outdated, no software updates for about a year.

OK. got new phone S24 PLus 512Gb  - And **bleep** still happens.

Also stops playback on Media Music player as well.

I am constantly asking random people if they are experiencing same issue, nobody heard anything about issue.

But there is only 3 people who's got that problem.

Me using S24+ on Verizon,

Friend of mine using Iphone on ATT,

My cousin using S21 on Verizon, interesting thing, that his wife is using S21 as well on Verizon and does NOT have that issue.

I also visited Verizon and T. Mobile stores and explained everything to store clerks - and they never ever had any complains from anybody.

Anybody  Anywhere heard or experiencing anything like that ?

Please help it is getting very annoying and always happens at a time when I am doing something like washing dishes and hands are soapy or cooking and hands are greasy from food.

Are you keeping your screen on? If you don't pay $14.99 month for YouTube premium, you can't exit app or turn off screen.

Check to see if you have google play system update. Go to settings, then security and privacy and then tap on updates.
Make sure all other app updates are installed.
You can try to clear cache of the YouTube app as well.
