Hate Google messages

I tend to copy/paste my text messages. I cannot do this with Google messaged on an incoming message nor a message I already sent. I really hate that this feature is not available!!! I can only do copy/paste before I send the text out. It makes it a real pain when I want to copy text for a different app. Very unhappy about this. I probably should complain to Google which I will.

When i do a search, it doesn't go straight to the word. I have to move all the messages up and down to see where it's highlighted. Are you using Google messages or Samsung messages?

I use Google Messaging. I meant to post up where you and Robin621k were talking about the need to take a screenshot to copy certain texts. Google Messaging makes you copy the whole text bubble, instead of being able to copy certain words within each bubble. It looks like you did a regular SEARCH, but I was referring to CIRCLE TO SEARCH. Do you know how to do that happysmom?

If you press on the message and hold your finger the message will highlight. At the top of the screen a copy emblem showing a shhet over another sheet, tap that and the message will be copied and can be pasted elsewhere.

Samsung messages has RCS enabled. It's called "chat" you have to turn it on in the settings

Disable the Google messages. Use Samsung messages is the best
