S25 Series Mobile Hotspot Security changed after the first update to WPA3-Personal my youngest daughter has an old Tab A (2016) after the update her tablet wouldn't connect to Mobile Hotspot it never had an issue connecting before took me forever to figure out why had to use my girlfriend's S24 and finally got it figured out seeing that my girlfriend's was set to WPA2-Personal changed mine to WPA2/WPA3-Personal and her tablet connected right away
Keep in mind that will only work as long as the hotspot network still uses the WPA2 settings. I am unsure in a device that old can use that most recent security protocol in network systems. Tbh, I don't see that changing for a while, as having hotspot connections are selling points.
