Galaxy S25You are not locked into using the Samsung music app just because it's on your phone. There are many music player apps in the Play store, and you may find some that meet your needs.
However, within the music app, I believe you have the ability to create play lists and/or sort your songs by artist/album. Even though they do not appear as "folders" in the app, the metadata is still attached to the songs, and the player will find them. As a matter of fact, as I open up the Samsung Music app, there are headers for favorites, playlists, tracks, albums, and folders. You can choose your view.
