Galaxy S25I have a one year old BMW SUV. I was using my old iPhone for the last year and a digital key in Apple Wallet for use with my car. I replaced my iPhone with an S25 a month ago. I have been struggling ever since to create a digital key in the Wallet App on the S25.
I have checked Samsung and BMW's websites - and the phone/car are compatible. The Samsung Wallet App on the S25 actually has a menu item to create a digital key for my car. When I try to use it, however, it fails to create a digital key.
I have tried to delete the cache on the phone and in the car. I have deleted the data on the phone and the car. I have deleted and reinstalled the Wallet App and the car management app. I have rebooted the car's computer.
No matter what steps I have taken the outcome is the same - an error screen appears on the phone:
I have called tech support multiple times I have followed their advice (delete/reinstall, reboot, delete data, etc.). So far nothing has worked.
This morning I called Samsung again and 'Jeremy' told me to talk to my local Samsung repair shop. I am waiting for a call back but I looked the business up and it is a repair shop for physical issues (mostly, I think).
Can anyone help me? It seems I need high level tech support from Samsung but can't get beyond the first level.
The one thread on this site on this topic does not appear to have a solution.
