As stated in the title, why remove the feature allowing broswers to be able to play videos while using video call apps ie google chrome or any browser plays videos with sound, and videocall on facebook messenger or any other app that provides that service no longer allows for simultaneously apps to output audio and work. All previous iterations of the galaxy have allowed for this to work. All settings are on for it to be allowed such as pip on, disabling wifi calling, using draw over other apps, allow audio on site settings, good lock's multi app audio in audio assitant, all volumes are on what is not allowing this to be a working feature anymore? even with turn on and off experimental video enconders on chrome flags does not work, I can get the video to run but with no audio. what is the fix?
I also have background usage enabled, i also tried brave which has that setting available explicitly, and it still does not play the audio while the video runs. This is on a S25 Ultra.
Question for both parties: Are these devices purchased from your Service Provider or from Samsung? I am learning that by purchasing from Samsung.com, I am knocked off several features that made my daily routines smoother. All for the sake of storage, since NOTHING is expandable anymore. I swear, my Note 10+ is genuinely missed, rn. š
This thread becomes irrelevant now that I know where the issue is coming from, Meta, or any Facebook apps that handle videocalls, the apps do not allow for simultaneous use of apps for legitimately no good reason. They have worked before and now they do not. The tech and software is there, Meta has removed it.
