Hello,

I've used Samsung's Galaxy phones for many years and am noticing a pattern of visual accessibility concerns with each new phone release. It would be much appreciated if Samsung would address the concerns below as the mentioned features were present on older phones, but are missing from the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
  • Always On Display Brightness: The Galaxy S23 Ultra at launch had this setting allowing users to manually set the AOD brightness. This feature is missing on the Galaxy S24 and S25 Ultra models.
  • Swipe Gesture for Assistant: Gemini, Google Assistant, and Bixby can be activitated by pressing the Side button on the Galaxy S25 Ultra, but you can no longer swipe from the bottom left or right to access an assistant. You can use this swipe gesture on the Galaxy S24 Ultra though. Some users prefer the Side button to be used to access the power off menu. The option to use the swipe gesture gives the user another choice on how they prefer to access an assistant.
  • Smaller Fomt Sizes and Scaling: The same display settings on the Galaxy S25 Ultra and S24 Ultra result in the newer phone sometimes having smaller fonts for notifications. Some apps like Instagram don't scale correctly on the Galaxy S25 Ultra. I'm unsure if this is a result of OneUI 7's redesign. Notifications on the newer phone have smaller font sizes. The date on the newer phone also appears smaller in the Quick Settings area. Apps not scaling correctly on the newer phone causes some content to occasionally be in slightly different areas.
Any support in sharing this information with Samsung is greatly appreciated.
