Im helping my parents switch to a s25, and i have an a52 5g...and theres still the same problem of "no counterweights" on them!

Imo, if phone manufacturers dont know what to do with the middle, make a smaller version! I miss my phone from 2015 bc of this.

Sorry but phones are top heavy because thats the section of the phone that holds all of the cameras if you want a phone to be the same they would have to increase the thickness of the whole phone

You can, by placing counter weight on opposite side šŸ˜‚

How since the cameras are what make it weight so more on the top so the bottom would have to be thicker to add weight to it to make it a even weight

Niether of us are phone engineers (i think), so i wouldn't know! All i know is that this weight is a recent problem, from my buying habits.

The top of phones have been heavier for many of years because people want thinner phones so the top has to be thicker and heavier to hold the camera modules there's no way around it if you want the weight to be the same then it would have to be thicker

May be anecdotal, but my S25 Ultra balances nearly exactly on the tip of my wife's finger. If anything, the finger is slight towards the bottom half of the phone. Anyway and tbh, I really do not see a device that is 99%+ used while the hand grips it mostly in the mid areas, would be a balance problem.

Your phone in 2015 had things like 3.5mm audio ports, mini-usb ports, etc. that made it thicker and heavier at the opposite end of the camera. Like others have said they've made the phones as thin as they can while also removing things like IR ports, 3.5mm ports, etc. The camera is the heaviest part because it's not just a camera anymore...it's a heart monitor, fingerprint reader, etc.

It also causes people to naturally tip their phones backwards for a better viewing angle and because the rear camera is elevated, it usually hits the ground first and breaks instead of the rear glass panel so it works out. I myself have never really have a problem with it. If anything the screen space taken up by the front camera is annoying at times, but it's hidden by the notification bar most times.
