Widgets transparency settings not working

When I insert the Samsung Internet search widget on to the home screen I increase the transparency. However as soon as I press ok, the widget goes back to being opaque. Has anyone else experienced this behavior? 

Also most of the other widgets for Samsung apps no longer have a transparency setting. The only choice is clear or with a background color which is very jarring against my background. Samsung can you please bring back the s24 widgets. They worked perfectly fine.

Most widgets have a transparency slider.  If you long press on the widget and click the settings, it should come up with a slider to remove the background so it blends in with your wallpaper.  Not all widgets have this feature.

My friend, I'm talking about AOD WIDGETS,not the home screen widgets,Are 2 different things.

Notes widget used to be scrollable, now it only scrolls a small amount and you have to open the app to see the rest of the note. Why? Why make things worse? Who is making these decisions?

Anyone else also miss when transparency used to be black and not this ugly gray introduced with one UI? Who tf decided that?

Greater levels of transparency needed on widgets like the clock.

Used to be able to see my background, now I have a slightly opaque black blob with a clock in it. 

Bring back the choice please.

Clock app also no longer able to be fully transparent. It's a bad look. Widgets should be able to be fully transparent. Driving me nuts. Please fix.
