Galaxy S25Those features cannot be physically changed, only certain defined features can be added. I have posted this a few weeks back and IIRC, another did as well. I am thinking Samsung is looking at this because on the contrast visuals makes it very difficult to read the number in the pill shaped icon. Example, if one looked at the left side of the status bar to glance at the clock, they'd notice only the numbers are shown with the background that of the user's setup (example below). The battery icon is a pill shaped white icon with black numbers in it, which is a visual contrasting horror tbh.

Galaxy S25It may be just me, but from all the pictures people are showing of the new battery indicator, it doesn't seem unreadable to me - and I have not so great eyes. That being said, I just don't like it. However, if you need to have an indicator of battery life, why not just add a home screen widget? If you need to know when it's getting low enough that you should quickly find a charger, you can create a routine to give you a notification (can even have it read aloud), when the battery is below the percent you set. That way, you don't even have to keep glancing at the battery level, just go on with your life until you get the notification.
