Android Auto does not stay connected to my 2019 Honda Accord Handsfree Link. It disconnects everyday randomly and I have to reset everything. I've done all the steps recommended and it will work but when I unplug and plug it back in, it does not want to connect back! I don't have any issues with my iPhone CarPlay! It's frustrating as **bleep**.

The fact that CarPlay works perfectly rules out a hardware problem with the USB port in your 2019 Honda Accord. The culprit is how Honda's multimedia system (which runs on an older version of Android) handles the handshake and data exchange with your Android smartphone.

I've actually done that, will work for the first time but after turning car off and disconnecting once I reconnect back, no luck. The only thing that I am not able to do it's clear the Bluetooth storage as it is greyed out. Ive only been able to clean the cache and storage in Auto Android. I just get the message saying connected to usb charge only. It'll spin spin and failed to connect to Bluetooth.

Hello MiggyBrimos, thank you for your feedback. I understand your frustrations with your car not staying connected with your device via Android Auto. You stated that you have only been able to clear the cache and storage in Android Auto, also when you are connected via USB it only shows charging. When you get the pop-up notification for USB charging phone, tap that notification and in the USB settings menu select the Transferring Files/ Android Auto mode.

In addition here is a link to some troubleshooting steps on connecting your device to your car:

If you are still experiencing issues your car entertainment system may require a software update. Please reach out to your car dealer or manufacturer for further assistance.
