I have a Galaxy S22 Ultra paired to a Galaxy Watch4 Classic and yesterday for the first time since pairing them they were apart from one another for roughly 7 hours. I left my watch at home and took my phone with me into town to the hospital then when I returned home I found my watch of with a fully drained battery and noticed my phone, which was barely used during the 7 hours, had its battery down to less than 50%. Both devices usually go a full day of heavy use with still having 40% or more battery. I assume that this drain on the batteries was from their radios turning all the up and constantly looking work one another.
Would anyone have any experience similar to this and possibly have a workaround other than unpairing the two of they'll be apart?

For future instances, you can try turning off the Bluetooth on your phone when away from the watch. If you need access to Bluetooth for other devices, be sure to open the Bluetooth settings to stop the phone from trying to connect to the watch. Restarting the phone may also help to stop it from searching for the watch.
