Cannot activate on verizon?

I'm at my wits end. After a week of trying to activate my 44mm galaxy watch7 on the verizon network, I ended up returning the watch because both Samsung and Verizon blamed each other for the inability to connect. I ended up getting a new watch, assuming the IMEI wasn't registered between the companies or something similar... only to find the new watch has the same issue. Come on!

I've tried everything - skipping mobile activation on first setup. Updating software (no updates available). Activate after the watch is connected. Activate through Verizon's website. Activate via tech support. Nothing seems to work.

Anyone find a way to get past this? Ironically, my wife's 40mm watch activated just fine on initial setup. It just seems to be both the 44mm watches I've attempted failing.

I've got the exact same problem.  Talked to Samsung Support who informed me that Verizon needs to provide a QR code to activate.  Went to the verizon store and after an hour, no success.  They even called their tier 2 tech support.  Agree, this is beyond frustrating and I'll be returning my watch to Samsung.  Of note the verizon model number for the same watch is SM-305U and the Samsung model received is SM-315U.  Not sure if that makes a difference on activating.

Thanks, if I make progress I'll post it. On the watch model - I think the 305U is the 40mm version and the 315U is the 44mm version. But because my wife's 305U didn't have issues, I wonder if it is specific to the 315U (44mm).
