Galaxy WatchHumans need naps to enhance alertness, cognitive function, and mood while reducing stress and fatigue. They also contribute to physical health, sleep regulation, and creativity. Nap tracking watches offer valuable insights into nap duration and quality, allowing individuals to optimize their naps for maximum benefits. By understanding nap patterns, users can identify sleep deficiencies and improve overall sleep health.
Please Samsung
Since you revealed "Vitality Score" maybe napping detection will offer better insights.

Galaxy WatchI don't know , the health app seems to think I'm napping even when I'm not-just sitting doing nothing. Have to keep deleting the odd sleep record.

Galaxy WatchS-Health doesn't recognize "sleep" unless it is 2+ hours.
You have to be lying in bed for 2 hours š

Galaxy WatchIt registers sleep when i am in my recliner watching tv if I don't make a lot of movement and my HR goes low enough--in less than 2 hrs. The worst is when it does it just prior to bed time and I forget to check if something was recorded, then it adds it to my night's total (with a big orange "awake" period while getting ready) instead of it being a separate entry I can delete. I do not lie around in bed. If I'm awake, I'm up, whether it's 3 am or 5 pm.
I've also taken legit 1-hour naps, and it registers that, so don't tell me about 2 hours.

Galaxy WatchToday Garmin introduced 1.000$ Fenix 8 smartwatch and they include "Nap Detection" in Health Features.
Samsung does not "officially" claiming any Nap Detections.
