Galaxy Watch

Galaxy Watch purchased as Birthday gift 2018 and after success with Gear S2 felt that we would have a great time together. On 10/16/2021 it started getting hot and provided message that would shut down to cool. No worries appreciated the notification. Ever since then; and with full charge  upon turning on it immediately began losing battery life and within 5 seconds notifications show that must shut off to cool. Software update was completed a few days b4 first incident and weirdly it keeps flipping to airplane mode also. Factory reset and troubleshooting have not been successful. Any other suggestions?

(Might be wrong here, also depends on what model you have) If you do this daily, you might be charging the watch too often, putting in more charging cycles then usual which is making the battery degrade a lot quicker, and that might be what's causing it to heat up is the battery going kaput. I had a phone (J3) do this to me, had it for 2 years then the battery started acting up and the phone got burningly hot from almost barely any usage (I could turn the phone on and within 5 or so minutes it would practically burn your hand trying to hold it)

I also don't know the life span of Samsung's watches, cause I have a GW3 45mm that I have had for about over a year now and so far it works the same as it did when I first got it.

As i said earlier, I might probably be wrong with this
