Thank you for reaching out, and welcome to the Community! I can certainly understand your frustration with your watch not counting steps without rebooting. Steps are not counted when there is no hand movement in the exercise sometimes. For example, steps may not be recorded when pushing a lawn mower or cart because your hands are not moving. The watch is intended to calculate real step counts while walking. Give this link a try for more tips on how to get your watch to count your steps more accurately: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01003112/#inaccurate-step-factors-on-your-sams...

If the troubleshooting is not helpful, the Watch will need to be evaluated by a certified technician. For service in the U.S., you can take the Watch to a local U.S. walk-in service location https://www.ubreakifix.com/samsung or to ship the Watch in for service, please reach out to us via one of the following options: 1.
