I have an issue with hearing Aids & Watch 5

I use the following devices:

Signia hearing Aids Charge&Go T AX hearing aids
Samsung Ultra S23
Samsung Watch 5 Model SM-R915U

The issue I am having is that the hearing aids I can not use the phone to answer calls.  Previously I had Samsung S10e & Samsung Watch 3, and everything worked find. Now I can stream music without issue.

So I'm going to assume that Samsung Watch 5 is setup to answer calls. Would I need to turn that off for the hearing aids to receive calls?

Thanks

Hello Keithrl74, Welcome to the Community. We understand the concern of not being able to take calls with the hearing aids.

Have you tried the Hearing enhancements in the Accessibility settings for the watch? This article provides more information: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00080311/

Do you also have the hearing aids connected in the SmartThings app?

If these settings do not help, then try disabling the call function on the watch.

Please let us know if these suggestions help.

No, I do not have the hearing connected to a smarthing App.  I have tried the disabling the call function for the watch. no change,  So now I am trying the disable the call function for the blue tooth connection, and I am not sure if that is what you mean above

Thanks

Thank you for reaching out. Just to clarify, do you have a specific app you use with your hearing aids on your phone?

Yes, we were referring to turning off the calls setting in the Bluetooth settings. Were you able to turn that setting off or did it disconnect the watch?

If you answer the call on your watch are you able to transfer the call to your phone?
