Can we talk about how ridiculous it is that kayaking doesn't have GPS??? Are we expected to put kayaks in a bathtub? It's an outdoor sport so why on earth wouldn't it have GPS?!?!
Dunno, when I look at the settings for kayaking, it certainly looks likr GPS is involved. Opening the workout screen in the phone app shows the map, and I assume that when the wokout is complete, your details will show your route and dustance. Can't do distance without GPS. The watch and phone data is synced throgh the health app, so even if you don't see the GPS data on the watch, you will see it when you check the app.
