I recently upgraded from galaxy s22 to s25 plus and have a watch6. I've downloaded Samsung message but I'm not getting the notifications on my watch. I've gone through all settings for phone, watch and app. All permissions are allowed, the app is set as default and notification on. My watch is connected and I've disconnect and reconnected. I've already powered off and on. My watch is giving notifications for other apps, just not texts received from Samsung messages. What in the world am I missing?
I have the Galaxy watch 7. Model SM-L305U. Watch worked fine until my phone Samsung s23 ultra did an update. Ever since I dont get alert on my watch when I get a text message. The text message goes to the watch but I just don't get an alert. I've rebooted watch about 3 times and Uninstalled the wearable app. Nothing seem to work. I get calls and emails just not alert for text messages. I'm using Samsung messages. I've made sure all my notifications are on also.
Which messaging app are you using? I have a S23 also and since the recent update, im not getting notification from text to my Watch4 Classic ONLY IF I use the Samnsung Messages app. I switched to Google Messages to troubleshoot and it worked but I want tonuse Samnsung Messages app.
