After receiving the One UI 6 update on my Galaxy Watch Ultra the wallet no longer functions when attempting to tap and pay.  The app opens as usual on the watch, the cards are all displayed, when I select a card it shows that it thinks it is transmitting but there is no communication between the watch and reader terminal.  I have tried multiple times at different retailers, with all the cards set up in my wallet and it is the same every time.  I have rebooted the watch several times.  I ran diagnostics on the watch and they came back normal.  My wallet works perfectly fine from my S23 phone just not from the watch.  Anyone else seeing this /have a fix?

Have you checked to see if NFC is enabled on the watch? That's how the watch communications with the sales terminal. If NFC is disabled, your card doesn't work.

You can then submit an error report in the Members app Support tab and it will go to Samsung tech support.

I reached out to support and they advised me to clear cache in the wallet app on my phone, which I did but since I haven't had a chance to pay for anything yet I do not know if that worked.
Not sure what to offer regarding not being able to reboot your watch, I've not had that issue!

Same thing. I go to tap, and it goes into a screen showing the last 4 digits of the cards being used instead of doing the transaction. I have found if you hit the back button, and it will go back to trying to transmit and work sometimes. It was perfect before. It's kind of embarrassing at retailers when you go to pay with your watch and have to break out an alternative payment method afterwards.

I have the exact same issue with my watch after the last update in January. Used to work perfectly, but now it has the same issue; I tap, and it goes to the screen showing the 4 digits of the card. It also sometimes goes back to a different screen, or the screen turns off.

It's not perfect but I found the Google wallet works better. The problem appears to be software not hardware

Google Wallet is not the solution. Samsung needs to fix this. Samsung Pay was working perfectly for me before the update.
