Watch 4 Classic watch faces wil not load on watch 6 classic

I just got my Watch 6 Classic in and started customizing right away.  First thing I noticed is that i can't load my Watch 4 Classic watch faces on my new Watch 6 - why?  They both run Wear OS.  Appreciate any assistance - don't want to pay again and I use both watches.

The developers of those watch faces may not have updated them for the watch 6.
