Advantage for game launcher for nongamers??

Is there anything that the game launcher app and other gaming apps do besides game stuff? I dont play games but I'm new to galaxy and i dont want to miss anything!

For best performance you may disable battery optimization which of course uses more battery

Well there's a setting in game launcher that moves all your games into game launcher and removes it from home and apps screen, it can also hide the notifications of games u choose to hide
