Home TheaterI have over 400 flac files that are songs. Almost all sound great except for 3 or 4 songs. The volume is low, they sound muddy and the volume is not consistent. The strange thing is when listening to those files on headphones or other devices, like car stereo they sound fine. They are on a laptop computer connected by hdmi cable. Any ideas as this has me baffled.

Home TheaterI think I might have corrected it. I had Dynamic range control set to auto. I changed it to off and it sounds better. I don't know why it only seems to affect those few files.

Home TheaterOne other thing. Instead of listening to the file from my hdmi connected laptop using Musicbee, I plugged a usb drive directly into the home theater. All the files sound better. When using shuffle play is it possible to have it resume where it left off?

Home TheaterUnfortunately I'm still hearing it on a few files which sound fine on other sources. Any ideas why this system doesn't seem to like these files?

Home TheaterSo now I used hdmi 2 as the port and changed the sound effect to Matrix. It seems to sound good now. I like that Samsung gives so many options but that also means a lot of possibilities to try when things go wonky.
