We are sorry to hear about this.  You want to make sure that you're handwashing the pitcher as putting it within the dishwasher could cause damage to it which would result in the leaking that you're experiencing.

Also, please check out the following link: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01001852/

If you've done all the above, the pitcher would require replacement.  If you're out of the one year's manufacturer's warranty, you may purchase a replacement pitcher here: Samsung Parts or you can call 1.800.627.4368

If you're within warranty, or still needing assistance, please utilize one of the options below:

I purchased  RF28R7351SR refridgerator at the end of last year and have had our pitcher leaking for the past couple months. I have taken the lid off and reset it but it just seems to always leak. I checked the pitcher and it doesn't appear to have any cracks and damaged areas.  It appears the rubber seal isn't quite thick enough to prevent water from leaking out. Can the rubber seal be replaced or does the whole pitcher need to be replaced before 1 year of use?

My auto fill pitcher leaks out the front when I pour it, I have to hold a towel up to it when I pour from it. It has been going on almost since the beginning of using the fridge but it getting worse quickly

Same thing here. We solved the problem using a roll of plumbers tape.  Take out the lid, and go around the seal area 3-4 times with the plumbers tape. It's been months and still all good.  The roll of plumbers tape is available in most grocery stores or HD for like $1. Simple fix for a ridiculous problem. Hope this helps.

@userVJfHZvESKx  Astronaut - your solution is great, however, not for everybody - because many people use the water pitcher to add fruit to the center as advertised. This means you have to clean out the pitcher by taking the lid off, to prepare for the next time. You can't just go months without cleaning the pitcher unless you ONLY use it for water. 🙂

I have the same issue, water gets everywhere, the tile floor gets wet and becomes slippery!

I am haveing the same issue as others. I purchased this refridge specifically for the water pitcher feature and its close to un-usable. Can I get the contact of a Samsung rep who can provide me with options for replacement or repair? The fridge itself works great, just this feature is a design oversight.

AUTO-REFILL water pitcher leaks on the front rim when pouring water into a glass. The top of the pitcher is properly attached to the container but still leaks.

One thing I tried that seems to be holding up so far is to take the rubber seal and instead of fitting it over the pitcher as installed fit it over with the short sides on the long sides which will reshape it.  Basically rotate the seal 1/4 turn.

This is absolutely pathetic. The design is a failure. I cannot imagine  that they were unaware of the difficulty when they approved the design. A new design with a one piece body that removed the infuser would be a welcome upgrade.
