Kitchen and Family HubI am a big fan of Samsung appliances. Every appliance I own is now Samsung. I was very disappointed with the magnetic knob performance on my model NZ30K7880US induction cook top. It does not make enough contact with the cook top surface to reliably adjust the power levels. I have fixed this issue by adding a single layer of silver duct tape to the semicircular outer ring of the knob. It now functions as it should. It takes a bit of accurate cutting to get a nice fit. This is a very common issue if you look at reviews on line. I was wondering if Samsung has resolved this issue yet and if you are supplying knobs that work or a fix similar to mine but is more professional.

Kitchen and Family HubHi Doug! It’s great that you found a solution with the duct tape, though I can understand your frustration with the knob issue. I’ve seen similar concerns from other users as well, and it seems like this problem is fairly common with that model. As for whether Samsung has resolved it, I’d recommend reaching out to their support team for more insight. They might have an updated part or a more permanent fix for this issue. Thanks for sharing your solution—it could be really helpful to others facing the same problem!
