Kitchen and Family HubHi. I purchased an Induction range ( Bespoke Model # NS16DG9500MTAA) and have been using it for 3 months now.
Recently I had a pot of water for steaming vegetables and it evaporated completely. The pot was on the stove for 5 minutes without water. Now the pot has left an impression ( bottom) on the glass top of the range. I have used glass top ranges for many many years and never had this issue.
I had a Samsung service technician come in to look at it. He was surprised at how it could have created the impression. He did say Samsung will not cover it and we can get it fixed but have to pay out of pocket.
Was on the phone with Anna for 30 minutes and she said the same thing -not covered under warranty.
I trusted Samsung and have been a loyal Samsung customer for 20+ years. All my other appliances ( including my phone) are Samsung.
Question - Have other users had this issue?
To Samsung -
I strongly feel this is a defective appliance. It could be one off and I could have ended with a bad lot.
What are my next steps.
Thanks
