Kitchen and Family Hubafter the update the date, time and weather that was a clickable feature and function has been moved from center of the screen to a small font spanning the top of the screen and is no longer interactable. this forces those that use the weather app semi regularly to add a weather widget, this widget is not able to be centered on the screen it is either one inch ish from the left or right, basically it can only be place in predefined locations on the screen. another issue the update also added an entire row of app icons at the bottom of the home screen only one of which I ever use, to remove them the user has to press and hold for more than 4 seconds on each icon to even get a clickable remove option. these are the changes that bother me I do not know if it would bother others. for me the screen set remained the same through all previous updates why did this one force changes that are so useless. does any one have a way to return the date, time, and weather to the way it was I have tried to find a way to correct this but haven't found one.

Kitchen and Family HubHi,
I understand your frustration with the recent update. Here are a few suggestions that might help you revert or customize some of these changes:
Date, Time, and Weather Position:
- Unfortunately, some updates make changes that aren't easily reversible. However, you can try using a third-party launcher like Nova Launcher or Microsoft Launcher. These launchers offer extensive customization options, allowing you to place widgets and icons exactly where you want them.
Weather Widget Placement:
- With a third-party launcher, you might have more flexibility in placing widgets. Additionally, some weather apps have their own widgets that might offer better customization options.
Removing Unwanted App Icons:
- If the update added unwanted app icons to your home screen, you can remove them by:
- Pressing and holding on the icon until the remove option appears, then dragging the icon to the "Remove" area.
- Alternatively, you can try rearranging or hiding apps through the home screen settings. Some launchers also offer options to hide apps from the home screen or app drawer.
- If the update added unwanted app icons to your home screen, you can remove them by:
Reverting to Previous Layout:
- If you want to revert to a previous layout, you can try resetting your home screen settings:
- Go to Settings > Home screen settings > Layout. This option might vary depending on your device and software version.
- You can also check if there's an option to restore the home screen layout from a backup if you had one saved before the update.
- If you want to revert to a previous layout, you can try resetting your home screen settings:
Feedback to Samsung:
- It's a good idea to provide feedback to Samsung about these changes. They often take user feedback into account for future updates. You can do this through the Samsung Members app.
If none of these solutions work, you might need to wait for another update that addresses these issues or consider factory resetting your device (though this should be a last resort).
Hope this helps!

Kitchen and Family HubI just want to be certain that you understand this is a refrigerator with a fairly restricted android install. I have not seen a way to load alt loaders.

Kitchen and Family HubHaider56....you mentioned installing 3rd party launchers, which I've done tons of times on my android phone. So with the Nova Launcher, how do you install that one directly into the Samsung Hub? Or are you referring to doing a screencast of the Nova launcher via an external device that has Nova Launcher installed on it?
