Our RF23HCEDBSR/AA refrigerator keeps freezing, and every 4-6 month we need to completely defrost it as it starts to make noise and freeze food as well. It's been a routine for us to remove the back panel and wait for the ice build up to defrost in the cooling unit in the photo, since the drain is getting iced and condensation that supposed to drain has nowhere to go and is building up ice.
Any way this can be fixed? Are there alternative clip drains (like https://www.amazon.com/Durable-DA61-06796A-Evaporator-Refoem-Replacement/dp/B07FMKZZL2 ) or something else that could help?
Model and photos attached.
The next step would be to proceed with service. You can use the following link below to request service or contact our phone support line at 1-800-Samsung to have service set up for you: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/

Thank you - I'd rather see why this is a problem or at least a list of most common options of why this is a problem before calling service. Unfortunately these service visits are expensive and given what I've read about these models is that this problem will persist.
