I just purchased a new induction range model NSI6DG9550SRAA. The clock display goes dark a few minutes after you stop using the range. How can you get the clock to stay displayed all the time?

You can't. The manual says it is on 24/7, but it is wrong. Had a tech come to 'fix' mine and he talked to Samsung. They say manual is a misprint. I say it is wrong, among a few other things!

I guess when you consider the location and ultimate small size of print for model number and serial number, you should know the clock would not be visible 24/7!  Why would you want the clock on 24/7 when you are not cooking 24/7.  You only need the clock for cooking correct?  lol  We have only had our expensive range a short time and already beginning to hate decision to buy Samsung.

I used the clock on my old range all the time to check things! Even visitors have asked what happened to the clock. At least it is on the microwave across the room. Just need to retrain! I will never buy Samsung appliance again and will probably check other manufacturers when it is time for a new tablet or phone. BTW, I had no problem finding model an serial numbers. Just took a picture and saved it in 3 different places!

I use the timer when cooking not the clock. This is the only range I have ever had that did not have clock visible 24/7 even back to the analog days. However, other than this minor issue we think this range is outstanding. It has the most controllable cooktop we have ever used.
