Kitchen and Family HubHi
I recently purchased a new oven Samsung NV7B45205AS Series 4 Dual Cook Multifunction Single Oven. After cooking a few things on different settings I suspected it wasn’t getting to the correct temperature. I purchased thermometer and checked the temperature after the notification for the oven reaching preheat temperature on various temps my thermometer read roughly 60 degrees below the temperature set. After cooking a joint of meat for 3 hrs which should have taken 1.5hrs I called an engineer. The engineer stated that preheating doesn’t mean the target temperature is reached and that product cooking instructions aren’t accurate. He tested the temperature using an app and declared no fault does anyone else have any issues or can clear up whether target temperature should be reached when preheating notification goes off. Any help would be greatly appreciated
