Any ideas how to solve this issue.. clicked the pre-installed youtube tv app and tv went black but still have sound. Not a backlight issue. We have tried all the reset options from remote and holding the power button down. We have tried unplugging for 60 seconds and holding power for 30 seconds after. We have left the tv unplugged for a few days. Tv is about 2 years old. We don't have any picture on the screen to do any other options. Any suggestions?
Thanks so much!

It is also very possible that the black screen has absolutely nothing to do with you opening the YouTube app, and that your TV screen picked that moment to die.  Not saying that this is the case, but it's possible.

As far as trying to see if YouTube was the culprit and backing out of the app with a black screen, you might try continually pressing the exit key on the remote to try to exit out of the app. Or, if your remote is one of those with pre-set app keys for Netflix, Amazon, etc. you can try switching to those apps.  If that does not work, your screen is toast.  You should see about calling in a repair service.

Since you have tried to "unplug" it already, search for a way to reset the TV to default with the remote, some TVs you can
