How to Program for regular channels

How do I program my Samsung Smart TV to pick my local regular channels.  I followed all of the instructions but when I get to the step "Auto Program" it says "It's not available and it's lit up in gey"?  How do I overcome this issue.

Make sure it's showing the connection ots usually the first one i.e input in settings that has channel should see option to scan
