TV controlling power to ps5

I recently purchased then q990c soundbar and paired it with the s90 65”. When I connect a ps5, shutting the tv off, shuts off all power to the ps5 which means I can never use rest mode. I have switched all hdmi settings so that the console and tv don’t switch each other on.

any suggestions? Is this a cec issue?

Why don't you turn CEC off and find out?

If you turn CEC off on the PS5, it shouldn't impact the sound bar at all

I turn it off on my PS5 but leave it on my Xbox
