I have a Samsung AU8000 4K UHD LED purchased November 2021.
it suddenly started turning itself on & off yesterday. Have changed remote batteries, no improvement - actually had to pull plug out of socket to get it to turn off with out restarting. Does not stay on long enough for me to get to setting & do a factory reset.
Message on screen when restarting is "Smart TV Powered by Tizen"
I can see on this message board that this is a system fault. Given the TV is not even 3 years old can I get some direction on how it can be replaced.
I recommend making sure there's no damage to the power cord nor the outlet it's plugged into. Also, please make sure it's not plugged into a surge protector as those can cause the TV to power cycle. If the TV still does this after checking these few things, it will need service. I have checked the power cord and it is fine. I have also plugged directly into a wall outlet. The problem persists. discussed this with a few friends who experienced the issue and 1 spent $175 on a service to be told (as is referred to in this forum) that it is a system issue and canāt be fixed. looks like I have to by a new TV, which wonāt be a Samsung!!!
