LED and OLED TVsHello,
I recently purchased two Samsung 70" DU6900D TVs and have put them side-by-side. A major issue I am dealing with is that I need individual control of the TVs with a specific remote (e.g. remote #1 controls TV #1 and remote #2 controls TV #2). Currently, the smart remote that came with both TVs will control both at the same time. I would assume there is some sort of way to do this, as I've seen TVs at sports bars, venues, etc. be operated individually with different remotes while in the same proximity to each other.
I have tried "pairing" my remotes to the TVs (pressing both back and play/pause simultaneously for 3 seconds), but nothing comes from that - not even a device paired notification like I see on all the instructions. It's as if the pairing function doesn't even exist for the TV.
I know there is the Smart Things app, but to be quite honest, my wife and I hate it because there is no touch feedback, so you constantly have to be looking down at your phone to know what button you are going to press and then the UI on the TV is also just so much - so the two don't mix well.
