Unable to Maintain Connection between Samsung TV and Tivo Edge

I recently upgraded my Samsung tv to a OLED model but It does not maitain a connection to my Tivo Edge when I turn the power on the tv off. Based on suggestions I have turned off standby mode on my Tivo and have set the resolution on my Tivo to 1080 bit sometimes when I turn on my tv it will not connect. Sometimes I’ll go through the HDMI troubleshooting and the will fix the problem. Other times I have to unplug the HDMI cable and plug it back in. I’ve tried swapping ports but that didn’t work.

You've updated your TV. Did you update the Tivo Edge software? Perhaps you need a new Tivo all together.

Possibly, but the Tivo was working fine with the prior Samsung tv.

Try updating the Tivo software and/or firmware.
