This is my second post idk what happened to earlier post, idk how to search these boards. Anyway my new s95d cannot control the av 10. My previous qn900...worked fine
I'm **bleep**. My old 900 series tv ,4 years old, worked great. I just plugged everything in, it configured itself. It saw my marantz av10, it saw the inputs, If i played a dvd it switched the settings, If I was watching generic broadcast cable it would use tv sound, but if i switched to 5:1 channel it would switch automatically. It would turn on the receiver and play
new 3000$ doesn't do any of that. Are there settings on the s95 to make it see the marantz?
How do i lower the sound with remote on my system when playing thru the av10, and 5:1. Right now it just shows receiver (vs optical) and just chirps , but not adjusting the volume.
On audio settings i have optical and "receiver"- s95 does not detect my av 10.I read that you can have hdmi as an option, but I dont have that available. Do I have to use something, or turn something on. And why did my 4 year old tv do this by itself and this **bleep** wont?
