Hello,

I just got the Odyssey G7 32in Curved Monitor and wondering if anyone can provide assistance on getting this set up to stream HDCP videos from sites like Prime Video and the lot. It says on the video play that I can not stream at HD because "Your video will play in standard definition because your computer hardware, HDMI cables, and display must all meet content protection(HDCP) requirements for HD video"

I have the stated monitor using the included DisplayPort cable and an Nvidia 2080 TI.

I am not totally familiar with HDCP, but can DisplayPort be HDCP compliant? Or do I need to switch to HDMI?

Good afternoon. I will try to answer all of your questions today. The monitor, including the display port, is HDCP compliant. As for your system, you will need to be certain you have all of the Windows and NVidia updates current, and check the manufacturer's specs on the PC, as there are processors out there that are not HDCP compliant.
