Monitors and MemoryIf connected to my Acer Swift 3 laptop (Windows 11 or 10) with HDMI, I cannot use the remote control anymore for the Samsung Smart Monitor M7.
Is there a solution for this?
I have tried the Easy Settings Box on the laptop, but I don't seem to get mouse control to work in any way such as the remote can be used. I can navigate with the laptop mouse to a border, but then I only get the option to switch between home and easy settings. I can't get the monitor to respond to the remote control.
I especially would like to be able to play, pause and more importantly rewind media on dance websites such as steezy. I bought the monitor for this purpose. However using the internet on the monitor directly results in very slow loading, or not loading at all of the site, suddenly I end up in home or some other place again, so I have given up on that and now try to solve by connecting to the laptop. On the laptop the in built voice recognition only seems to give me the option to pause and play, not to rewind. (And I wonder if it would anyhow work when I am playing music and am on the other side of the room). Also Bixby is not supported on the laptop, nor Cortana. However Bixby on the remote control works great, BUT as said I can't use the remote control when connecting through hdmi.
Is there another way? Connecting through usb c or display port or anything else I can try?
