I got the T7 shield from amazon. When I connect the ssd with my phone it lights up also shows on my notification panel that usb device is connected but doesn't show up in files. Couple of times it's showed that I need to fix an issue. So I formatted it. But still not working. And I have other drives i have connected with the phone and those worked.

Try clicking on "File Transfer" when you connect your T7 Shield to it.android-file-transfer-01-usb-preferences-100931904-large_1000008552_1716791899.jpg

When you mean formatting it, do you mean you hooked it up to a PC?

Okay, so I did some research and downloaded this app from the Google Play store called "Samsung Magician." Let me know if that works.

  • I have the same issue I can't understand why Samsung makes an SSD that is not compatible with it's own phones and worst they don't fix it it's been years with people having the same problem but they don't fix it I have everything Samsung phones tablets but **bleep** like this makes me think about going back to Apple I hate their iOS but at least their **bleep** works.

I was thinking my one had issues because I got it from amazon.

Me too. I am all things Samsung but now the way they are going i don't know.

I don't know what they fix with all those firmware updates.
