Trying to connect soundbar to monitor

I have a Neo G8 Odyssey and an HW-S801D sound bar, and I am trying to get sound from my Xbox Series X. As I want to use the monitor for visual and the sound bar for audio, Is it possible?

I think you'll be best served doing some internet searches for connecting the Series X to a soundbar possibly using a HDMI hub.

According to the G8 manual it has neither HDMI ARC or optical ports so running the soundbar through it will be problematic. 

Just remember the G8 is a purpose built high performance visual gaming monitor,  not an all around feel good TV.
