Hello, I have a new M8 and the camera is not detected on teh Samsung M8 when I go to check for this under settings. It does not show the camera as detected even though it is attached. I have tried reattaching it. I should add I am using USB-C to USB-C connection for the monitor to my Mac as well. I have to have this camera working or I will need to send this monitor back. Ugh. Hello! Thank you for reaching out! I would recommend that if none of the info has helped on page then this will be something that will require service. Depending on your warranty you will have a couple of options.

- If your unit was recently purchased, you can check with your retailer on their return/exchange processes.

- If you have an extended warranty you can reach out to them to have service set up.

- If you're within the one year warranty, you can Private message me or one of our moderators or you can call in directly at 1-800- 726-7864 with your full model and serial number to have service setup

- If you're OUT of warranty, you can use this link below to find a service center in your area.

The Mac needs to be connected to the Type C port next to the HDMI port in order to see the camera.

The far Type C is for mouse/keyboard.

It is in the middle of the hdmi ports. It’s not working. I can’t even find the camera on the Samsung monitor let alone my Mac.

Did you read the Manual?

There was no manual. So no. I'll just return the darn thing as the camera is not even showing it's connected to the Samsung monitor even after trying the wizard to set up the camera. IT's like that clip on magnet thing is not even being recognized.

It was declared defective and I sent it back. Tried updating the drivers for the camera and that also didn’t work to connect the camera.

Did you ever get this resolved.  I'm having the same issue but I'm on a Macbook Pro.
