On 16th July 2024 I came home to find my TV (only 4 yrs since purchase) restarting and fading off on a constant loop. It would start up with the sound and logo, and fade to black and shut off about 3 seconds later. This was was happening continuously without anyone touching the remote or switching it off/on. It would stop only when I turn the main power off at the wall plug. I contacted Samsung, they asked for the serial no. and model, and proceeded to say it was out of the warranty period, I can request for someone to come and check it - but would have to pay not only for the repair, but also the service fee for checking.
The next day someone contacted me from Samsung, I explained the issue and this guy says in Malay he's familiar with this issue and he just finished repairing a TV with this same issue, it's the LED or something, and on that same call told me it will cost RM1,800 to repair. He quoted me this on the phone and without checking the TV in person. So I said this is ridiculous, I contacted customer service again and expressed my disappointment paying so much for a TV for it to face this issue only 4 years in. It also is apparent that this is a very common technical issue many users are facing for the guy to immediately know the issue and quote me over the phone.
So, I refused the check and repair service and left the TV off for over week. When I put it on again on 28th July, it was working 100% fine without any glitching, and looked even sharper and vibrant than before. It did not shut off on it's own. So it wasn't the LED and looked like there was no damage to the LED or screen at all.

It worked fine up til a few days ago when the screen started flickering again and yesterday it started to restart on it's own again. So what's the issue, Samsung?

Sorry to hear this you would need to have someone come out and check it to see what the issue is sounds like a power supply issue to me. Since your not in the US I would suggest contacting the support community for your country.
