Can You Control Roku Ultra with Samsung Smart Remote?

I just set up my new Samsung QN90C and was able to connect and watch my Roku Ultra, but I need to use the Roku remote to control it the Samsung Smart Remote cannot.

Is it possible to control a Roku with the Smart Remote?  Any help would be appreciated.

I'm leaning to say no since I have Chromecast devices and I have too use the Google remote to control the Tvs. You may have the same option in the Roku settings to pair the roku remote to your tv
Enter pairing mode from the Settings menu

Press Home on your working remote or from Roku mobile app.
Scroll and select Settings.
Select Remotes & devices.
Select Add devices.
Select Remote.Select Continue.
Follow the on-screen instructions to pair your voice remote.

Thanks Gary,

It's a shame. I only use the Roku for the Formula 1 App to watch F1 races about 20 times a year. F1 doesn't make the app available to TV manufacturers. I guess it's not a big deal to use the Roku remote a few times a year.

You're lucky then I switched to only using Chromecast, and I prefer the small Google remote over the Samsung remote it will do everything unless I need to go into the tv settings I recommend the Chromecasts over all of the other streaming boxes
