Hello,

So, I am using the Samsung universal remote that came with my 48" Class OLED Gaming TV S90D model code QN48S90DAEXZA.

On the remote I cannot change channels or hold the button to get the channel guide. Hold the middle button in the center also does nothing at all for me either when using direct tv.

Volume works fine.

So I played with it and redid the set up and entered the model of my DirecTV box when I did the set up and on the third try it let me change the channels, I think I got it covered now.

Thanks.

Is the DirectTV connected through HDMI? Is so, you can turn on Anynet+ under your (Samsung) TV menu.
Menu >> General >> Anynet+

Hello,Asergaottie. Having a remote that's not functioning properly can be frustrating. Have you tried to reset the remote? To perform a reset of your remote, remove the batteries, hold the power button for 8 seconds, reinsert the batteries, and then try pairing the remote again. If you have a solar remote, press and hold the Return and Enter buttons for 10 seconds.

Please let us know if this helps!

Thank you for the reply, after doing the reboot on my solar remote I still have the same issue with my DirecTV. I can change channels only with my DirecTV remote, not my Samsung.  Anynet+ is active.

Is the HDMI cable you're currently using support Anynet+(HDMI-CEC)? Not all HDMI cables support this feature.
